Retention & Recruitment: The Recruitment and Retention committee seeks to enhance the recruitment and retention practices for all Resource Families in the State.

Chair: Lynda Mangum
Advisor:  Brenda Sponsky

Legislation & Advocacy: This committee follows legislation, provides commentary and testimony as needed and advocates for all Resource Families in Maryland.

Education & Training: This committee serves to aid in education and training of all Resource Families in the state of Maryland.

By-Laws & Nominating: On the odd years this committee serves to present a nominating slate to the board of directors. On even years and during times when elections are not being held, this committee serves to review and offer revisions to the by-laws.

Finance: Chaired by the Treasurer, the Finance committee serves to research different financial opportunities including grant applications and fundraising.

Public Relations: This committee serves many purposes including fundraising, event planning, and customer service.

Membership & Outreach: The Membership and Outreach committee serves to support the members of the MFPA and help develop support groups or associations in jurisdictions where such representation may not be present.

Executive Committee: The executive committee consists of the President, President-Elect, Vice-President, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Secretary and Parliamentarian of the MFPA.

Website Development: Develop and maintain mdkids1.org website.
